Is the Dollar Dreams diminishing with the new age Indian grad?

There was an age, when most graduates desired to go to the US chasing behind the dollar dreams and search of greener pastures. If i hadn’t had a job when i came out of the college, may be i might too be one of them. but lately that charm of Dollar dreams is diminishing. Here’s why.

When I passed out of my engineering, the dot com bubble burst had just began and there were no jobs at all (thanks to my good luck charms that i got placed while in campus) but i have seen many of my friends suffer running gate to gate (not even door to door) in search of jobs and without many, they had no choice but to fly to the US or UK to do their Masters thinking that after Masters, they could settle down in the US (and yes, it proved right to some too).
